Ferdinand Greiss
PostDoc, Weizmann Institute of Science
I did my PhD in Munich, Germany studying single molecules during the period when vinegar flies decide where their body parts should go. Minor mistakes at this critical stage can ruin the life of our precious flies. I moved to the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel to isolate the decision-making processes in synthetic cells and learn about the surprising robustness and precision of nature.

In a video conferencing call...

...I am happy to talk about my research.

...I can show live experiments or equipment, e.g. Fluorescence microscopy, Chip fabrication, Cell-free gene expression

...I am happy to speak to others (e.g. to journalists, museums).
