Hi, I'm a philosopher with an expertise in applied ethics, political philosophy and philosophy of economics. My PhD-thesis was all about "sweatshops", i.e. factories with substandard working conditions in emerging economies in which most of our clothes and eletronics are being made. The question that drives and binds my research is how we evaluate and justify economic decisions. I also take great interest in the philosophical analysis of popular culture and popular phenomena and have published on TV-series like "The Big Bang Theory" and "The Handmaid's Tale". I believe that such work can advance our understanding and appreciation of cultural texts and the way these texts engage in public debates
