Kerstin Göpfrich
Professor, Heidelberg University
Ever wondered about how life emerged on Earth? Can we build a cell in the lab? This is the question we would like to adress with our research. We use DNA and RNA origami to engineer a new kind of molecular machinery for a synthetic cell.

In a video conferencing call...

...I am happy to talk about my research.

...I can show live experiments or equipment, e.g.

...I am happy to answer questions about university and career-related questions.

...I am happy to moderate a discussion.

...I am happy to speak to others (e.g. to journalists, museums).
