Irene Fally
PhD candidate, Universität Wien, Institut für Romanistik
After completing my teacher training, I taught French and Italian at upper secondary level. Since I have always been intrigued by how language works, I started my work on a PhD focussing on how speakers of French and Italian store, process and form verbs. My research combines corpus- & psycholinguistic methodology. Apart from work around the mental lexicon I also investigate how contact with English affects word formation in the Romance languages.
