PhD candidate, LMU Munich
I studied plant biology during my B.Sc. and biotechnology during my M.Sc. For my doctoral research, I wanted to work on protein crystallography in the interdisciplinary field of pharmaceutical biology. So I joined the group of Prof. Huc at LMU Munich, Germany, to study protein crystallography of DNA binding proteins with foldamer complexes.
I believe a more interdisciplinary approach in science goes way far and delivers directly to society, in my case, in terms of therapeutic agents that we are currently developing in our lab.
In a video conferencing call...
...I am happy to talk about my research.
...I can show live experiments or equipment, e.g. I am happy to show how proteins are crystallised, diffracted and solved for strucuture. I can also show protein expressiona and purification including FPLC and LCMS.
...I am happy to answer questions about university and career-related questions.
...I am happy to moderate a discussion.
...I am happy to speak to others (e.g. to journalists, museums).
