After completing BSc in Vilnius University and MSc in Heidelberg University in comparatively basic science, I decided to pursue something that could make difference for the cancer patients. Therefore I completed my PhD at Heidelberg University and am currently a postdoctoral researcher at St Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, USA, in translational pediatric neuro-oncology field. I am working on targeted therapy in very aggresive type of medulloblastoma (the most common malignant brain tumor in children)
