We are a group of three Neuroscientists (Etienne Serbe, Matthias Meier, & Aljoscha Leonhardt) currently working at the Max Planck Institute for Neurobiology (Etienne and Matthias) and at a machine learning company (Aljoscha). We have been active in science outreach and science communication for about three years with our project "hirnkastl" (that's local Bavarian dialect for "brain"). We use simple DIY equipment - from Backyard Brains - to show students and other interested citizens the basics of neuroscience.
