Srinath Ramkumar
PhD candidate, Max Planck Institute For Heart and Lung Research
I was a student of engineering and biological sciences and I chose to do something more interdisciplinary for research. I joined for a doctorate since I felt very passionate about science and basic science in particular. I feel most of it was luck and a lot of hard work, and nothing was ever handed to me and I believe that it’s important to understand that persistence and hard work are never to be underestimated.
