Ich bin seit mehr als 20 Jahren als Physiker im Bereich Photovoltaik tätig und habe an verschiedenen Themen von Grundlagenuntersuchungen bis zur Produktionsunterstützung in diversen nationalen und internationalen Kontexten gearbeitet. Nach mehreren Jahren an einem deutschen und einem amerikanischen Forschungsinstitut war ich lange in der Photovoltaikindustrie tätig. Bei KU Leuven und EnergyVille beschäftige ich mich mit der Integration von Photovoltaik in speziellen Anwendungsfällen, z.B, in Gebäude, und der dazu gehörigen Leistungselektronik. Darüber hinaus interessiere ich mich für Themen wie Energiesystemintegration und Potentialabschätzungen zur Reduktion von CO2-Emissionen. Since more than 20 years I am working as a Physicist in the field of Photovoltaics. I have worked on different topics from fundamental investigations to production implementation, in various national and international contexts. After years of research at a German and an American institute, I worked in the photovoltaics industry for a long time. At EnergyVille / KU Leuven, I am performing research on the integration of photovoltaics in special contexts, e.g. into buildings, and the power electronics required for this. Besides that, I am interested in topics like energy system integration and potential assessment for the reduction of CO2 emissions.
